Probably for many people who have not been to Thai Camp and did not train there, will be interesting personal experience.
And those who are already trained in this way, probably to expand their horizons and experience.
After gathering information from some websites on martial arts, in particular Sherdog, and after some letters from several camps (it was Jitty Gym, Sasiprapa, Sor Vorapin), I chose camp of Jitti Damriram. I decided to stay at the camp (this is the house of Jitty and his family) for a week for 5600 baht, with half-board, and, of course, with 2 sessions daily.
Camp is located just five minutes from the metro station Ratchadapisek, where you can get to the center of Bangkok. One station from Chatuchak Park, if you go to the center - it will be the station Thailand Cultural Centre, where there is a Carrefour shopping center with food court, supermarket, and Esplanade, where is leading brands sporting goods stores, food courts also. There you can find a wi-fi in cafes. Wi-Fi was caught at the camp, but a secure connection. Not far from the Camp are two stores 7/11, where you can find everything you need.
Rooms for accommodation are on the second floor, the conditions were as spartan, the bed without a blanket, fan, table, shelves for shoes). Cleaned every day. The door was closed the latch, I have not lost anything - i left there the camera, laptop, money in my pockets. And i intrinsically felt that nothing is will lost and not stolen, and not getting all screwed up about it.
Nearby shared shower, toilet. In general, the terms are the simplest, but the discomfort did not arise, and after the training i wanted lie down to rest and think about nothing. If you need a hotel - it is very close Chaophya Park Hotel, for $ 55 without breakfast or $ 65 with breakfast, per person. Many Farangs, trainees in Jitty Gym, stay in this hotel.
You can search other hotels in the area.
I made the payment immediately.
Morning training was as a jogging in the park Chatuchak, 3-4 km, and a kilometer back. Then - easy to work with a trainer. The basic training is from 15.00 to 18.00. Begins with the work on the tires, then padwork with a trainer. Hands, elbows, feet, knees. Then a bag. Then work with trainer in the clinch. At last - work with other students in the clinch, and in the end - press, horizontal bar, stretching. There are metal with light weights (barbell and a bench for bench press, dumbbells, rim for the neck training), it's all optional, the money for it did not take.
In fact, it was individual training, trainer (mostly Serm - son of Jitty, a couple of times Jitty) works with you, points to the error correcting. So if you want an individual approach, and do not overpay for a personal training - then stop at the camp and you will be happy! In this case, a separate personal training is just an extra workout.
The quality of training I liked, much attention, fix bugs, and the trainer is working on it thoroughly.
Food is delicious - the morning was fresh fruit, rice with chicken or pork, in the evening only rice with chicken or pork, sometimes soup with pork and a bowl with greens.
